Easy Oats cookies

Oats have many good properties for which it is known, but sometimes we do not like the traditional way of eating it. Today we bring you some very easy to make oatmeal cookies that will make oats something richer.

Ingredients of oatmeal cookies

250g butter at room temperature
200g brown sugar
100g white sugar
1 egg at room temperature
1 egg yolk size L at room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
240g of confectionery or normal flour
100g of oatmeal
1 teaspoon of chemical yeast
1 teaspoon soda (powder)
1 teaspoon salt
Preparation of oatmeal cookies

Preheat the oven to 160ºC. Beat butter with brown sugar and white sugar until well blended. Add the egg, yolk and vanilla mixture thoroughly.

We mix the dry ingredients in a bowl, that is: flour, oats, chemical yeast and soda. Mix well and add to moist ingredients. We beat everything together until it is well integrated.

With a spoon we are taking balls of the dough and we put it in a greased oven tray or with paper of baking. I recommend the oven paper or silicone oven bases.

Chop the balls with a lightly oiled spoon so it does not stick to the dough, it’s really sticky.

We have to leave a gap between the cookies as they will grow and we do not want them stuck together.

We put them in the oven at 160ºC until we see that they are turning golden with the edges slightly darker. It is time to remove them but they will remain like stones.

This will take you between 10 and 15 minutes depending on your oven. Remove them from the tray and put them on a rack to cool them.

Not counting the light of the light oven but is that it is complicated to count it.
